At Naked Hockey, we believe in the power of minimalism. Not just in design, but in mindset. Our philosophy is simple: strip away the unnecessary, so you can focus on what truly matters - performing at your best. In a world full of distractions, we stand apart, creating products that are refined, purpose-driven, and built to support your journey, both on and off the field.
Naked Hockey was founded in 2018 by three friends who had played hockey their whole lives and never felt a real connection to any of the brands in the sport. Their shared conviction was simple: the market was full of product companies with no philosophy, no deeper meaning, and nothing for a serious player to connect with. They wanted to build something different.
The name came from the brand's founding principle. To strip back the unnecessary. Less distraction, more focus. To play naked is to perform without noise, present, sharp, and fully committed to the game.
Enter Felix Denayer
In 2020, Naked Hockey sent a direct message to Felix Denayer, then captain of Belgium's Red Lions and one of the most decorated field hockey players of his generation.
Felix did not want a standard sponsorship deal. He understood branding, he understood what Naked Hockey was trying to build, and he became an equal shareholder. His involvement goes beyond lending his name to the range. The sticks are built around what he demanded from his equipment at the highest level of the game, and informed by two decades of competing against the best players in the world.
Felix retired from international hockey in 2025 and from club hockey in 2026. His focus is now fully on building Naked Hockey.

Naked Hockey makes field hockey sticks, protective equipment, teamwear, and accessories. We work with the premier hockey manufacturer in the world. We have global distributors across every major hockey market and are stocked in leading hockey retailers.
