Here are a few ways to help you choose your stick length:

To measure a child hold the hockey stick at their side. It should be just under their belly button.
If you can't decide between two sizes, consider your child’s position. Defenders sometimes prefer a longer stick for a longer reach in tackling and better power when slapping. A shorter stick improves a stick handling skills so could be considered for more attacking players.
Once a young person reaches the age of approximately 13 they will be in a full size stick ie 36.5”(5 f 3”), so you do not need to measure the stick to your hip or belly button once you reach this height.
The majority of hockey players use a 36.5” stick but many prefer the extra reach and power of a 37.5" and some even prefer a 38.5"

Great stickbag with a lot of functional smaller pockets

Really nice and functional bag. Pockets everywhere which is very useful when organising your bag. Definitely a big plus compared to other stickbags on the market. Please do keep these in future models as well!!
Very comfortable straps en padded back. I find the separate should strap less useful but it is a nice extra.
Cool colours but the light colour is prone to staining of course.
Overall really happy with my stickbag!!!!

Finally found large qualitative bag

Inspired by our captain of the Belgian Red Lions, I bought the bag for my 14 yo daughter who’s very tall (so 60L fits her length) and passionate about field hockey. It is high quality in terms of the fabric (firm, water repellent) and most importantly the zippers as these usually break easily. The bag has enough space to store all hockey gear. My daughter also loves all the smaller pouches and zippers; keeps her organized and makes her easily find things back. Another nice feature is that you can wear it as backpack or on the shoulder as duffle bag. Great product! It’s our first purchase at Naked and am very curious to explore the brand further and see what is out there for field hockey. Thank you Felix Denayer for sharing this brand with us!
