Naked trigger point balls are an excellent way to loosen up tight muscles and are great for getting into those areas that the foam roller can’t reach. Just find the spot that is giving you pain or is right and work the ball into the surrounding muscle. Roll against a wall to reach your back and shoulders, or rolling against the floor for those tight spots in your back, calves, glutes, hamstrings etc.
